No in order for this to work with ATT wireless router you will need to buy another wireless router. Then put this optimizer between ATT router and the new router. Then you will need to disable the wireless on the ATT router and use the wireless/wire connections from the new router to make this work. Before you do any of this, you may check the router setting in your ATT unit to see if it has any QOS settings, because some routers provided by ISP's do have it. This not an issue with just ATT, but all broadband provider that bundle modem/router into one box
