From what I understand from the makers website and reading reviews it's from 2006. So it may not include new additions, I live in California and there were some major additions such as the 210 Freeway and changes to the 91 Freeway that don't come up on my GPS with maps from 06'. But overall it's about 98 percent good map wise.Answers

It has a mounting bracket for the GPS which attaches to the windshield mount. Also includes an adhesive disk you can use on your dashboard, though others have indicated you'll never get the adhesive off your dash again, so not going to use it. Has an SD card slot, but doesn't include a card. Quick instructions included, and full manual in PDF format on included CD. Includes AC charger, car charger, and USB cable. I haven't noticed any maps for Canada, but I haven't looked either. Only other thing I would purchase is the Bracketron UFM-100-BL
