They are not listed as specific to iPod from the Sennheiser website. I would feel certain they are for any portable device. They do not seem to have any microphone so they would not work for hands free phone operation.
The title states they are for iPod, but I wonder if the connection will work for any MP3 player or if they are made specifically for an iPod?

The plug fits all normal Mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm which nearly all mp3 and phones have. It's not made just for the iPhone, that's just a descriptive selling technique.
