I am extremely unhappy with these 3K computers. The manufacturer’s website states that they automatically connect wirelessly at hot spots but I have to manually connect each time by filling out the password and everything else. It also states that they are Java compatible but they are NOT with Windows CE. I cannot check my email if it doesn’t work with Java. I need to return these and shop for computers that are compatible with Java and connect automatically to wireless.

FYI… If you go to the manufacturer’s web site, the Help link takes you to a chat forum full of pornography.

I would not. This netbook uses the same type of processor in most smartphones. That being said, it does not run Windows very well let alone other apps. For school I suggest you get a netbook with an Atom processor.
