I have a Gateway SX2800-03 that supports DDR3. Can I buy any DDR3 ram chip (non so-dim) and it will work? from DDR3-800, DDR3-1066, DDR3-1333, or DDR3-1600?
I am currently running DDR3-800 (2X2GB) and if I put a higher rated one, DDR3-1066, would it just slow the DDR31066 to run at 800mhz?

I have a Dell Dimension 510 desktop bought in 2006.
