I have a hair dryer with power rating of 1875 W, can it be used with this power adapter. Also can it be used for continuous use like charging of devices.
In some countries they have 240V instead of 110V for electricity. With this adapter, can I use any electrical device that uses 110V here and plug it on the 240V wall outlet?

You can only if the electrical item you are using is rated for both 110 and 220 volte usage; however, if the item is rated for only 110 volts, you wil need need a converter!!!

Normally, adapters do not convert the voltage, you need a converter.
This device does not convert voltage. It only enables you to connect a 2-prong US-style plug into a foreign outlet. Your electrical device must be compatible with the foreign voltage. For example, most laptop AC adapters will work in the 100V to 240V range.

Although I have not seen this one, I guess it is only an adapter to change the plug type to suit the power socket. It may not have a transformer to change the voltage.
